Yesterday Brady turned 1 month old. Its weird because it seems like just yesterday I was just in labor and at the same time its hard to remember what life was like before him. He is sleeping so much better, getting 4 hour stretches at night, which makes me happy only having to get up once in the middle of the night. And after a couple weeks of him fighting sleep in the crib, we got it worked out with the help of a sleep positioner. Thank god- I knew sleeping in his bouncy chair or carseat would start to pose a problem once he reached 5 years old :) Nursing is going great. I was worried that I was "starving my baby" (shout out to the lactation nurse at Millard Fillmore) and that he wasn't getting enough milk. But, to my surprise, at his 1 month checkup at the pediatrician yesterday he was up to 9lbs. 2oz! Thats a couple of ounces more than average gain, so our little man is doing well porking up. He's starting to hold his head up for short stretches, loves staring at people's faces (doctor said he is a very observant little guy), and has given us a few smiles so far. Bob and I always talk about how cool its going to be to watch him grow and start doing new things.

Happy birthday, Brady! Kaitlyn has that same caterpillar toy..
Glad to hear all is going well with Brady as far as sleeping and eating. He looks happy and healthy and you guys seem happy too! Have you been preparing him for vacation yet? Is he excited about his first plane ride?
So awesome Karen! I hope someday I'm as good of a mommy as you are!
Karen and Bob: So happy that you both are surviving parenthood! It is amazing that a little "bundle of JOY" runs your life! I bet you don't even remember the pain of labor when you look into Brady's sweet little face! Happy One Month
Birthday! Love Aunt G
